ECM Spotlight: Kristy Ladd Culp of PNC Bank

November 7, 2023

Meet our November ECM Spotlight: Kristy Ladd Culp of PNC Bank! Kristy works at PNC Bank as a Client & Community Relations Specialist, where she supports community engagement and affairs.

Kristy is passionate about being involved the community, volunteering at early childhood support organizations such as EarlystART, El Centro, The Family Conservancy and Growing Futures, and serving on the board at Children’s Center for the Visually Impaired. With a long history of working in nonprofits before joining PNC Bank, Kristy is proud to work with a corporation that supports the community it lives in through giving time and commitment.

“When you work with United Way, you know that you’re impacting lots of different organizations which are in turn impacting lots of different people which are in turn impacting lots of different children,” said Kristy. “So, obviously at PNC our focus is… that early childhood space. So, working for a company that is so focused and so invested not only financially but from a time standpoint into that space—it means the world to me.”

Kristy explains that Impact Bus Tours provide a rare opportunity for her colleagues and PNC Bank executives to spend time with one another and get to know the organizations they visit firsthand. “It makes a difference to be able to live it, see it and feel it and so I know that that’s going to have an impact when they come back in and when they start to see emails or communications that come out asking for volunteers to support their initiatives.”

Thank you, Kristy, for your passion and commitment to being a catalyst for change. Stay tuned for more inspiring narratives as we continue to shine the spotlight on ECMs who embody what it means to be a Waymaker™.
