As we welcome the 2026 FIFA World Cup to Kansas City, the following nonprofits are preparing and offering expanded, targeted and relevant resources and activities in support of the two-month long experience.  

United Way’s 211 Call Center will be available 24/7 for non-emergency support to anyone who calls. It’s free, confidential and offers translation support into 135 languages.  

If your organization is planning events or programming specific to supporting the community during World Cup and would like to be added to this list, please let us know by filling out this form.

Accessibility Medical Equipment (AMEKC)Redistributing sanitized and repaired durable medical equipment, especially mobility devices, to improve access for community members who need support during the World Cup period. Website: www.amekc.org 
Jewish Family Services of Greater Kansas CityExpanding volunteer driver capacity to support older adults who may be affected by heavier traffic, rideshare strain, and extreme heat during World Cup activities. 
Pete’s GardenCoordinating food recovery efforts tied to Arrowhead Stadium matches and FIFA Fan Fest events in partnership with community organizations to redirect food to families in need. Learn more or partner: https://petesgarden.org 
Sheffield PlaceProviding transitional living resources and support for individuals and families experiencing housing instability during a period of increased economic pressure. 
Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault (MOCSA)Offering SAFE trainings for bars, restaurants, and venues to strengthen prevention education, bystander intervention, and safer public spaces during large-scale events. Contact: bwilliams@mocsa.org 
Northland Community Cleanup KCHosting community clean-up events before the World Cup to improve neighborhood readiness and support city beautification efforts. Nonprofits can participate and receive stipends for volunteer engagement. 
Re.Use.FullCollecting usable items from Fan Fest events and offices for redistribution through no-cost charity partnerships, helping reduce waste during World Cup activities. Sign up: https://reusefull.org 
Greenline FoundationPartnering with BCCGKC to host an Eastside World Cup viewing party that combines celebration, community connection, and financial empowerment. 
Sound MandalaOffering an immersive arts experience near the KC Streetcar (June 10 – August 1, 2026; tickets on sale May 1) and seeking collaboration and cross-promotion with World Cup-related partners to enhance visitor experience. Details: https://soundmandala.org/experience 
City of Kansas City, Missouri – CoolKCCoordinating the citywide extreme heat response (CoolKC), including public education, cross-sector planning, and activation events to protect residents and visitors during high-heat conditions expected during the World Cup. Key dates: May 15 (webinar) and June 5 (community kickoff).
