United Way of Greater Kansas City
Fighting for the health, education and financial stability of every member of our community
Join us at the Nonprofit Catalyst Grant Town Hall, a collaborative initiative by United Way of Greater Kansas City and The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation. This event is designed to bring together The Kauffman leadership, United Way Leadership, current Catalyst Grantees, and potential future grantees. Our focus is on networking, uplifting BIPOC-led and BIPOC-serving grassroots organizations, and highlighting the impact of the grant in this space.
During this town hall, we provide a safe space for open discussions on the challenges faced by grassroots organizations that have been traditionally overlooked in funding opportunities. We aim to foster honest conversations about barriers to success in the philanthropic space, exploring both the successes and hinderances of capacity-building endeavors.
This platform allows BIPOC-led and BIPOC-serving organizations to share their experiences, discuss the successes and ongoing challenges still faced after the grant, and welcome new applicants who want to learn more. The event is open to current Nonprofit Catalyst Grantees, and anyone interested in applying or learning more about the grant.
