One of the things I’ve really enjoyed about joining Women United is meeting so many other talented women in my profession. It’s a great networking opportunity and also a great way to make a difference in Kansas City. For example, we helped out the teachers at Richardson Early Learning Center get ready for the school year in August. Teachers don’t have much time to prepare their classroom, so we knew we were helping reduce their stress, and we had a lot of fun!

I was initially drawn to Women United because of friends in the community who shared with me the positive impact Women United has had in our community, specifically for our children. We all have a different skillset and rally together to help make a difference for the children in Kansas City. This is an area that has been near and dear to my heart for many years. The Women United collaboration, teamwork and dedication has not only made a lasting change for our community, but we have also developed lifelong friendships along the way.”
