Women’s Employment Network (WEN) is a Kansas City nonprofit dedicated to helping women achieve long-term economic independence. Through personalized employment coaching, financial education, career development, and AI skills training, WEN equips individuals with the tools, confidence, and support needed to secure sustainable employment and build brighter futures.

Individual Volunteer Opportunities:
Career Speaker or Presenter : Share your career journey, industry insights, or professional expertise through WEN Talks and other learning events.
Mock Interview Coach: Help women strengthen interviewing skills through practice sessions and constructive feedback.
Resume Reviewer: Provide guidance to help clients develop or enhance their resumes.
Networking Volunteer (WENtroductions): Support structured networking events by facilitating conversations, sharing feedback, and helping participants build confidence and professional connections.
Career Conversation Partner : Meet one-on-one with clients to discuss career paths, workplace experiences, and professional growth.
Group & Corporate Volunteer Opportunities: Networking Teams – Volunteer as a group during WENtroductions events, participating in networking exercises, speed networking, and industry discussion tables.
Employer Engagement: Host office tours, career panels, job shadows, or employer information sessions that help women explore career opportunities.
Mock Interview & Resume Review Days: Send a team of employees to provide interview practice and resume feedback.
Training & Event Sponsorships: Support WEN programs through sponsorships, volunteer engagement, and client success initiatives.
