STEP 2: Gather your documentation.
You will need a photo or digital copy of one item in group A and group B below.

1.  Copy of a valid ID 

Driver’s license or non-driver state-issued ID, Kansas City Fountain Card, Passport.  For children 6-18:  Current school year student ID or birth  

2. Proof of Eligibility 

You will need to select one eligibility category listed below and provide one document that shows you are eligible under that category.  The categories are listed in the application below and the documentation is described under each category. (Application will be posted June 1)

STEP 3: Submit Your Application Below (Application will be posted June 1) 

IF YOU ARE A PARENT OR GUARDIAN APPLYING FOR YOUR CHILD: Provide your child’s name on the application form BUT your email and cell phone so we may contact you about your child’s half fare pass.  There is a place later in the application for you to enter your name. 

STEP 4: You will receive a follow-up email or phone call from United Way within (5) business days.  

Please prioritize responding to follow-up questions for information promptly to ensure your reduced fare pass is not delayed.
