Habitat for Humanity KC is taking a holistic approach to reducing poverty and improving equity in our community. The organization is focused on affordable housing, because safe and stable homes free families and individuals from instability, stress, and fear—encouraging self-reliance and confidence.
The impact of affordable home ownership extends far beyond the present—allowing families to plan for the future. When families have affordable housing, they can build wealth, invest in education, bolster job opportunities and career growth, and uplift their entire family for generations.
