Volunteer Information:
Volunteer Opportunities: Most volunteer opportunities are available in Turn the Page KC’s Literacy Resource Center in the Hospital Hill area. Opportunities may include packing and unpacking books, labeling and sorting books, and making deliveries of books to local partners. This could include the need to lift boxes of 25 lbs. or more. There are also opportunities to assist with administrative tasks like data entry, writing/editing, and assembling mailers which can be done both on-site or remotely. You can also serve at the Festival of Reading held twice each year and sponsor tables at partners’ events at other times to share information and engage with the public. These opportunities are typically available Saturday afternoons or weekday evenings throughout the year.
