The 100 organizations we believe are addressing the most vital health & human services across Kansas City.
United Way of Greater Kansas City is pleased to announce the selection of this year’s Impact 100 partners. This annual list is comprised of one hundred of the most vital health and human service organizations that United Way will invest and partner with to bring real-time solutions to our community.
Nonprofit organizations selected in this year’s Impact 100 submitted applications and were reviewed by our community investment advisory council—a diverse panel of 100 community and business leaders over the course of several weeks. The group evaluated organizations for their demonstrated work and outcomes to address the critical challenges facing the Kansas City region today, as well as for their fiscal responsibility. Final selections were approved by the United Way Board of Trustees. Impact 100 organizations will receive unrestricted funding from United Way to address their individual nonprofit’s most pressing needs.
“We are committed to working alongside these organizations in being partners in change,” said Chris Rosson, United Way President and CEO. “Together, we’re driving real-time solutions to our region’s most pressing challenges.”
This year’s Impact 100 represents all six counties served by United Way of Greater Kansas City and includes strong representation for communities of varied race, color, history, culture and background. Broadly, they aim to improve health, enhance educational and youth opportunity and foster financial security.
“United Way is more than a fundraising organization,” Rosson said. “We are a community-centered, solution-oriented, problem-solving organization for those who need it most, where they need it most and when they need it most.”
