The holidays are brighter when no one faces them alone. United Way helps neighbors in need access holiday meals, gifts, and support through our network of caring community partners.

Thanksgiving Baskets: A basket of groceries is gathered for the client to cook a Thanksgiving meal. Discover Thanksgiving Basket services here.

Christmas Baskets: A basket of groceries is gathered for the client to cook a Christmas meal. Discover Christmas Basket services here.

Holiday Gifts/Toys: Programs that provide gifts to children, families, older adults, etc. This can be a single gift from the program or a Holiday Store where family members can “shop” for gifts for themselves or each other. Generally, families may only receive assistance from one organization for holiday gifts/toys. Discover Holiday Gift/Toy services here.
Holiday Adoption Programs: Like “Adopt-A-Family” or “Angel Tree”, programs match people who want to provide personalized gifts with older adults/individuals with disabilities/low-income families in their community who would not be able to celebrate the holidays otherwise.
