United Way of Greater Kansas City is pleased to announce applications for this year’s Impact 100 grants are now open. Any nonprofit within United Way’s service area, operating within our primary health and human service areas may apply. These focus areas include: healthy community, youth opportunity, financial security and community resiliency.

The Impact 100 is United Way’s rigorous annual process of selecting the 100 organizations we will invest in and partner with to bring real-time solutions to our community.
Volunteers interested in supporting the process are encouraged to apply for roles as community advisory members, helping select organizations that will receive funding this year. Each Impact 100 organization must be a registered 501(c)(3) in good standing, meet a high bar of financial responsibility, and be actively working to address critical challenges facing the Kansas City region today. Impact 100 organizations will receive unrestricted funding from United Way to address their unique, pressing needs.
“The Impact 100 process allows us to be responsive to the ever-changing needs our community faces,” said United Way Chief Philanthropy Officer, Jessica Blubaugh. “Community leaders are vital to engaging with and informing the process to ensure we have a diverse, thoughtful approach to grantmaking as we work toward a Kansas City where all have the ability to thrive.”
Nonprofits must be principally located or provide services in the following counties to be eligible:
In Missouri: Cass, Clay, Jackson, Platte
In Kansas: Johnson, Miami, Wyandotte
