Meet Our January Employee Campaign Manager (ECM) Spotlight: Katie Stamp of KPMG!
Katie Stamp is a Manager in Audit Practice at KPMG where she specializes in ensuring financial accuracy and transparency for clients. As a second-year ECM, Katie has been involved in the company’s “Season of Giving” campaign, which combines local and firm-wide initiatives to foster community engagement and philanthropy.
“It’s been a good opportunity giving back to the community, something that’s really important to me. When I found out that I could be involved and have a little piece of that through KPMG, I really wanted to be a part of it,” Katie said
The campaign takes place from mid-November to late December, inspiring local offices to compete in participation and fundraising efforts. United Way organized a volunteer event as part of the 2024 campaign where KPMG employees packed 665 sack lunches for Jewish Family Services, designed 48 caring cards and created no-sew tie blankets.
“We do a lot of volunteer hours, donations, events like this United Way volunteer event to get points so that we can enter into raffle prizes,” Katie shared. “We also have such great speakers come in – it’s always so fun to hear about different organizations and what they’re doing in the community. This year we had United Way, Family Conservancy and Ronald McDonald House come and speak.”
Katie’s passion for giving back was nurtured early in her role through KPMG’s Community Impact Day, an annual event where employees volunteer at local organizations.
“Once I started getting involved in that, I really found a love again for giving back and I wanted to continue and try to bring events to our office that people could participate in very quickly,” she said.
Katie’s passion for fostering engagement is a great example of her commitment to supporting our community and shines through in her role as an ECM.
