Colliers Is In Their Giving Era

November 29, 2023

Are You Ready For It…?

Colliers’ United Way Campaign kicked off its internal workplace initiative in Style! The team gathered for an Enchanted pancake breakfast prepared by Ed Elders, President of Colliers. During the event, employees learned about the missions of Newhouse, a safe shelter for victims fleeing domestic abuse, and Harvesters, Kansas City’s largest regional food bank serving a 26-county area of northwestern Missouri and northeastern Kansas.

The Colliers team actively participated in the community by volunteering at Harvesters, helping to Shake Off hunger. Employees assisted in sorting and packaging food items destined for donation to Harvesters’ network of over 760 partner agencies, including food pantries, community kitchens, and shelters that provide groceries or meals to families, children, and seniors in need.

To wrap up the campaign, an eventful ‘Bingo Happy Hour’ served as the perfect End Game. Employees who supported United Way through financial contributions also took part in a company-wide silent auction event.

A special thank you goes to Ed Elders, President of Colliers and United Way board member, for making our campaign wildest dreams come true! Shoutout to our Employee Campaign Managers Patty Selby Tilton, Abby Pollard, Shaurna Andrews, and Mary Leek for Swift-ly taking action!
