We are proud to partner with Boulevard Brewing Co. in support of our life-changing work that impacts 1 in 3 Kansas Citians! During the month of March, UWGKC will be Boulevard’s featured Community Crowler partner. All month long, $5 from every crowler sold at the brewery’s Tour & Rec Center will be donated to United Way of Greater Kansas City.
“We are thrilled to be giving back to United Way through our Community Crowler program throughout the month of March,” said Amber Ayres, director of consumer experience at Boulevard Brewing Company. “The services United Way provides can be life-changing for so many people and they are a huge asset to our local community in Kansas City.”
United Way is committed to improving the education, health, and financial stability of our community through partnerships with more than 700 local nonprofits and a series of strategic initiatives designed to bring about real transformation in our community: from eviction prevention to investments in advancing small nonprofit organizations that serve Black, Latino, and other people of color in the community, to direct inflation relief support to families in need and more.
“We’re passionate about mobilizing our community’s collective generosity to help drive solutions to the most pressing issues facing our neighbors today,” said Kera Mashek, United Way director of communications. “This partnership with Boulevard is one way we can pour out love for the community together, 32 ounces at a time, to help the 1 in 3 Kansas Citians who rely on our network for support.”
In addition to the crowlers, United Way of Greater Kansas City is excited to be the beneficiary during one of Boulevard’s massively popular Community BINGO nights! Tuesday, March 14 from 5-7 p.m., bring your daubers and play bingo for free. Order any full pour, and $1 will be donated to support UWGKC during the event. We’re also excited to raffle off a designer handbag in promotion of our upcoming Purses for Promises event, happening in April. RSVP here!
