United Way of Greater Kansas City is offering an exclusive evening of “Impact Dinner & Drinks” for Tocqueville Society members at Boys Grow Farm on November 9th. In appreciation for their generosity, members will have the opportunity to enjoy a dinner prepared by Chef Shanita McAfee-Bryant, winner of Food Network’s Cutthroat Kitchen competition and founder of The Prospect KC. The Prospect KC is a social enterprise that supports individuals of disenfranchised communities with nutritional education, kitchen culinary training and culinary entrepreneurship support. Tocqueville Society members will also learn about Boys Grow, Food Equality Initiative and Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas and how they are addressing food insecurity in Greater Kansas City.
Toqueville Society members can contact Brooke at brooke.tippin@uwgkc.org for event details.
