DESCRIPTION:Presented by Burns and McDonnell & hosted by Women United. \n\n\n\nThis International Women’s Day\, join Women United and Burns & McDonnell for a unique Impact Bus Tour\, celebrating the incredible women and organizations driving change in our community. \n\n\n\nExperience how United Way’s Impact 100 partners are empowering women through health\, safety\, and overall well-being\, while tackling challenges that strengthen families\, youth\, and communities. \n\n\n\nOn Friday\, March 6\, 2026\, we’ll visit three inspiring organizations making a real difference for women every day: Amethyst Place- whose mission is to inspire transformational healing and empower generations of women and children to achieve recovery\, reunification\, and resilience; KC Care Health Center who is committed to to promoting health and wellness by providing quality care\, access\, research\, and education to the underserved and all people in our community; and Phoenix Family\, who empowers people living in low-income housing communities with the on-site support they need to gain stability and achieve self-sufficiency. \n\n\n\nNote: This event is free and open to all community members\, but there is limited space available.
