Creating Second Chances Through Dads Against Crime

June 21, 2026

As Founder and President of Dads Against Crime, Andre Harris is leading a powerful, holistic-driven approach to support men and families across Kansas City. Inspired by his own experiences, Harris identified a critical gap in services and built an organization rooted in hope, accountability, and opportunity.

Recognizing the barriers men faced in accessing legal support, Harris took the initiative to build partnerships with law firms willing to offer discounted services and worked to structure a program that could provide expungements at no cost to clients. Through his persistence and vision, Dads Against Crime’s felony expungement program has removed obstacles to employment and housing and opened pathways to long-term stability for the men it has served.

By also integrating therapy, mentorship, workforce support and legal services, Harris ensures individuals receive the wraparound care needed to create lasting change. A dedicated community builder, he strengthens families, uplifts neighborhoods and fosters new conversations around mental health, equity and opportunity. His work reflects a deep belief in the potential of every individual and a commitment to helping others build a stronger future.
