Data Integration and Reporting Specialist

Position Summary

This leader believes that solutions to complex social problems are possible when Kansas Citians are united for transformative change. The Data Integration and Reporting Specialist will support the analytics and IT teams by optimizing and maintaining data integration and reporting capabilities throughout the organization.

Position Duties & Responsibilities

Data Integration
Develop and maintain data integration processes for disparate systems throughout the organization. Conduct interviews with stakeholders and staff to understand business requirements. Triage, troubleshoot and resolve data issues. Provide training to team and end-users on analytic and reporting systems and databases. Review operational data structures and data flows and recommend optimizations and opportunities for automation. 

Support Philanthropy and other staff through regular reporting. Develop and maintain automated reporting structures within the database as directed.

Maintain electronic pledging platforms. Develop pathways needed to enable adoption of new pledging systems and other software tools in conjunction with the e-Commerce team.

Process Improvement
Proactively contribute to the ongoing creation and development of departmental processes and policies.

Be knowledgeable about UWGKC’s work and be an effective and compelling communicator of the same to advance engagement and brand value.

Annual Goals
Support established goals for fundraising and achieve process improvement goals.

Experience and education:

Minimum of an Associates Degree in Computer Science or some related technical field and two years of technical work experience including SQL, preferably in a high volume data entry, deadline-oriented processing environment.  Commensurate work experience may be considered in place of Associates Degree.
